UG & PG (ASU&H) Admissions: Last date for admission and internship completion extended for s.2020-21

COVID-19 pandemic and the nationwide lockdown have affected almost every sector including the education system. Initially, the PG medical aspirants have faced various difficulties in taking the entrance exams then a one-year compulsory rotatory internship was struck down due to the healthcare crisis. In this regard, the Ministry has received various representations from aspirants regarding the inability to complete the compulsory internship within the stipulated time.
Considering all these grievances ministry has decided that the last date/cut-off date for admission in ASU&H Under Graduation and Post-graduate Courses will be 28th February 2021 and the last date/cut-off date for completion of the internship will be up to 31st December 2020 to be eligible for admission in the academic year 2020-21.
However, such candidates, who have applied for AIAPGET-2020 based on the existing criteria for completion of the internship by 31 October 2020 must have been started their one-year compulsory rotatory internship on or before 1st November 2019. Therefore, the starting date of internship for such candidates shall be on or before 1st November 2019.
