(Vacancy No. 21101514123) Five vacancies for the post of Medical Officer (Unani) in Directorate of AYUSH, Health & Family Welfare Department, Govt. of NCT of Delhi (OBC-05). 

• The vacancies are suitable for candidates belonging to category of Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) viz. 

• Locomotor Disability including Cerebral Palsy, Leprosy Cured, Dwarfism, Acid Attack Victims with disability i.e. One leg affected (R or L) (OL) or One arm affected (R or L) (OA). 

• The post is temporary but likely to continue indefinitely. Group-“A” General Duty Medical Officer of Indian System of Medicine. 

Pay Scale: Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. Age: 38* years. 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATIONAL: (i) Degree in Unani of a recognized University or Statutory State Board/Council of equivalent recognized under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970). (ii) Enrolment in State Register or Central Register of Unani. 

NOTE: Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified. 

DUTIES: 

(i) To diagnose and treat patients in O.P.D./I.P.D. 

(ii) Administration of Unani Unit of which he/she is put incharge. 

(iii) To attend health Camps/Melas organized by Govt. of NCT of Delhi/Govt. of India. 

(iv) To perform any other duties assigned by the Director (AYUSH) from time to time. HQ: Delhi. 

Any Other Condition: Private practice of any kind whatsoever is prohibited.
