Description:
Pain of the ear that can be due to cold and coryza, dental caries, foreign body or water in the ear, maggots of the ear, cleaning of ear with some sharp object, joint pain, ulcers or pustules in the ear, wax of the ear. The condition is marked by redness of ear and burning sensation
with piercing pain. Its possible English equivalent is otalgia.
