Description:
Pain of the teeth which may be due to (1) hot impaired temperament with swelling (2)cold impaired temperament of teeth or its nerve (3) involvement of stomach/accumulation of stomach with putrified humours (4) dental caries (5) cold and coryza (6) decay of teeth. According to Jalinus (Galen), teeth have also got sensation and thiswas supported by Ibn Sina (Avicenna) and other medieval physicians also. Its possible English equivalent is odontolgia/
toothache.
