Description:
Foul smell in the scalp due to hypersecretion and putrefaction of the sebaceous glands. The condition is more commonly seen in children because of the presence of considerable amount of fluid in them. In older people this condition arises due to the decrease in the innate energy of the body. Its possible English
equivalent is foul odour of scalp.
