The study revealed that the obtained data of quality control parameters were within the permissible limits of WHO and the drug shows potent antimicrobial activity against all the tested organisms at 100mg/ml concentration. The MIC was found to be within the range of 1.562μg/μl to 3.125μg/μl for majority of the organisms tested. Comparatively the drug was found to be least effective against both the tested Pseudomonas spp.
