Description:
A type of parasitic disease. It starts with an eruption on the skin of the leg or hand or extremities or trunk more commonly on the calf muscles. After the ulceration of eruptions, a red thread like worm comes out from it which is quite long and its length gradually increases. This worm usually resides beneath the skin and creeps. There is pain at the site of worm. Sometimes, the number of these worms is about 40-50. Its possible English
equivalent is drancunculosis
